We are looking for a partial time engagement (contractor or partial time employee) for an initial phase of 12 months starting in August 2021.


It will be positively evaluated if you are based in Madrid in order to maximize the ongoing business opportunity of YBVR with the Real Madrid. You will report into the YBVR CEO who is based in US.


Objectives 2021

Immersive Football Product Manager will have the following responsibilities and objectives in 2021:

  • Define the Immersive Football Streaming Product (IFS) and drive the implementation phases by the YBVR technical team
  • Define the uses cases for the IFS – both In_Stadium and at home
  • Define IFS value proposition and product features required for fans, broadcasters (OTT & Media Right Holders), Leagues, Football Federations, Football Clubs/team/national teams, sponsors and international tournament organizers.
  • Define the monetization elements of IFS, in particular the Virtual Ticket applied to Football.
  • Define the IFS positioning and create the IFS Product Marketing material
  • Work with the YBVR Customer Operations team to ensure IFS product is implemented in manageable phases and any of the phases are released on time and within budget
  • Test the product market fit in the target environments
  • Identify the target ‘flagship’ customers for the IFS value prop and build the business relations with them
  • Ensure initial customer engagements and recurring revenues with some of the key players in the Football business: LaLiga, Bundesliga, Premier, MLS, Real Madrid, Barcelona FC, DAZN, ESPN, Eurosport, etc..


You will have to manage at the same time strategic and ambitious relationships (big thinking) as well as the detail of scoping what the IFS requires in its different phases.

Required Experience

Required experience in the football business. Deep understanding on how the business flow in the football business – football competitions, broadcasters and Sponsors/commercial partners.

We value marketing and digital experience as well as audiovisual business in sports related experience.


Compensation Pack

The compensation scheme will be based on a monthly retainer and a commission on the YBVR football related sales. Success bonus are defined to be received upon completion of specific ‘flagship’ engagements.
